The theme of this evenings exploits being "Monochrome"
I must say the level interest brought by all members was exceptional. The number and variety of images produced quite stunning.
The brief was Monochrome, such a wide brief however, the images produced gave some of the impact that the genre encompasses.
From vintage sepia reproductions through to black and white, abstract, High Key, Street and Portraiture. All came to the fore. The level of quality excellent and thanks to all who took part.
Brian brought several images one examples showing the power of the waves crashing over the North Tyne Pier
Garvin took this image at the Cluny. The lighting at the Cluny is not conducive to image taking however Garvin has managed to capture the stance very well.
Derek captured this image at Eldon Square just. to show how imposing the bronze casting actually is.
The statue of The Seated man. A man's statue on the moors in Yorkshire the detail in the almost Chiseled face is excellent.
David was able to take some images of the Dome prior to the restoration taking place.
The sunlight breaking past the dome brings some beautiful streams of light onto the image.
Martin said that the intense black of the railings really lead to the easy decision to make this one of Martins selection for his black and white images
Nicola was very happy for various reasons to have captured her sons image against the reeds and grasses.
Norma took this stunning image on the sand at
Of The Dove Marine Centre and The Lifeboat Station in a beech pool reflection.
Ron has taken this image of a fly on a leaf using his 400MM lens in almost macro mode
