Photo of the Month - April 2019
The results are in for the club's Photo of the Month competition for April.
This month's submissions were judged by Martin Humble, the winner of the last 2 rounds. His comments are below each image
1st Place - "Orange Tip Butterfly (With closed wings) " by Ron Bowes
"Fine detail in this photograph where the sole focus for the viewer is the delicate butterfly, perfectly captured in its natural habitat."
2nd Place - "Birds Eye View" by Derek Rootham
"The image perfectly captures the scavenging eye of a bird on the lookout in an urban environment. A composition that allows the viewer to draw upon their own experiences when viewing."
3rd Place - "Not Used but the Presses Stopped Anyway " by David Brennan
"A very well composed 'urban' photograph where colour enhancement has increased the clarity of a once busy but now derelict workplace."
We thank Martin for taking the time to judge this month
